The University of South Florida is the fifth best public university in the United States among institutions founded between 1945-1966, according to new rankings released this week by U.K.-based Times Higher Education (THE), a globally recognized higher education publication. USF moved up two spots from last year and is the only Florida university ranked in the top 100 of THE’s annual list of “Golden Age Universities.” The top four institutions are each from the University of California System.
The Treasurer is responsible for treasury operations and managing University debt and investments.
Brian Lamb will continue to serve as chair of the University of South Florida Board of Trustees, after board members voted unanimously to keep him in that role during a meeting this week. Lamb, a USF alumnus who has served as board chair since June 2016, was elected for a two-year term. Jordan Zimmerman was also unanimously re-elected to serve a two-year term as BOT vice chair.
